Why not take an off-season trip when the weather is exercise-friendly? Bring your bike and/or hiking gear and explore the mountainous beauty that surrounds Deer Lake Resort. Don't forget your camera because the views are something you'll want to capture on film!

Fishing in April-June and September

If you visit us April thru June or in September you'll have all the peace and serenity to yourself! The fishing is best, motors on the lake are at a minimum and the fish taste better. You won't find yourself in any lines and the weather is mild. We'll have time to stop and chat so we can get to know you!

Family Gatherings, Office Parties

Any time of the year is time for gatherings of every kind for any reason. Whether a family reunion, birthday party, surprise anniversary party, or office party Deer Lake Resort has several options to offer. The Eagles Nest is a 3,000 sq. ft. event center with a large covered deck that overlooks the lake, use our in-house catering or choose one of your own. The Picnic Patio can accommodate up to 80 and is an outdoor raised deck with a fireplace, picnic tables, refrigerator and a charcoal grill. There are electric plug-ins and lighting as well. We are proud of our large, open lawns with massive weeping willows, a fabulous setting by the lake to have your wedding or special gathering. Sand volleyball and horshoe pits flank the large lawn area.
